The Confederation of Indian Industry (Southern Region) is organizing the 4th edition of the CII Commercial Vehicle Summit 2026, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, from 09:30 hrs to 18:30 hrs at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The one-day Summit will be organised under the theme “Reimagining India’s Commercial Vehicle Ecosystem: Clean, Smart, Safe & Competitive.”

The Summit will be chaired by Mr. Rajendra Petkar, President – Emerging Mobility & Technology Strategy, Tata Motors Limited.

India’s commercial vehicle (CV) sector plays a pivotal role in enabling industrial growth, logistics efficiency, public transportation, infrastructure development and last-mile connectivity. As India progresses towards its Viksit Bharat vision and net-zero commitments, the commercial vehicle ecosystem is undergoing a significant transformation driven by clean mobility, digital technologies, safety innovations and globally competitive manufacturing.
